Post-Caudal Block
I survived my steroid epidural and I gotta tell ya…it was kinda trippy. My ass and legs were numb. I could still walk and everything, but numb in the oddest way. It’s also been difficult to find a comfortable position.
I have high hopes for this. Pain relief for however long is worth trying just about anything and everything.
And now it’s time to get up and face the day. (Until I go lie down again, of course.) Gonna try to talk MOBD into driving me down to the surgery center to pick up my car. He just got back from a very long drive and has said he won’t set foot in a car for a couple more days, but I think I have a fairly decent bribe in the fridge for him. Wish me luck!
Glad it works so well! Hope you can have one of these blocks whenever you need one… too bad it means an epidural, though.

Really weird stuff. Feet and legs numb, ass numb, pretty much numb numb numb…if I had nuts, well, they’d be numbnuts. But there’s still pain. Just…different. Go figure.
Now, we start with the chills and sweats. As the steroids are absorbed into the spinal column, you get fever, chills, sweats, etc. My favorite part! Right. But I believe this is worth it. Gotta believe, right?

Well, my painkiller leaves my lips and brain numb, but enough about the bourbon…..
Seriously though? Please read this:

Kindly forgive me the lack of HTML coding of the link, and do feel free to edit it to code, after the fact. I can’t find my cheat sheet for the steps on this, and I wanted to get it to you right away.
Never forget that we’re all out here, wishing your pain away.
