Monday’s Musical Interlude

DaGoddess @ 04:00

Cuz we’re keeping the party going!

Don’t ask how many of these songs I have on the computer. You’d cry if I told you.

  1. First concert I ever went to was Deep Purple – in the Houston Astrodome. I vividly remember them playing ‘Smoke On The Water’. It was hard to see the band because almost every person there was smoking that stuff my neighbors sell… ;)

  2. Ahhh… good old vintage Deep Purple. Now I always associate “Child in Time” with the movie Twister, when storm chaser Dusty blasts it from his PA as they’re traveling the Oklahoma countryside.

  3. Hmm, I had a post last week that I called Deep Purple, but it had absolutely nothing to do with these guys. There will probably be some people who google it and end up mighty disappointed.

I always remember the smoke on the water opening riff, but the rest of the song makes no impression on me at all.

Still in all a good start to Music Week…
