Wanted!

DaGoddess @ 02:00

I swear, some songs are damn near impossible to find for downloading. Or you find them and then the file ends up corrupted. I hate that!

I’m looking for the following:

1) Acoustic version of “Throw Your Arms Around Me” as sung by Neil Finn.

2) Rosemary Clooney’s version of “For All We Know”*. (Not to be confused with The Carpenters song.) I’d also like the version that Rupert Friend sings in Mrs. Palfrey at the Claremont, but I’m not holding my breath for that one. Rod Stewart does a good job, though it’s still not Rupert Friend or Rosemary.

3) The entire soundtrack for A Mighty Wind. That was a brilliant freakin’ movie.

4) The audio only for Cheap Trick’s “Loser”, which I’ve fallen head over heels in love with.

5) Soundtrack for the movie Crazy Heart. I know, I know, iTunes has it, but I’m not on iTunes. Hence my big dilemma.

6) Every song I’ve ever loved and ever will love. I want the magically delivered onto my doorstep.

7) And a kite. (Blame Ray Romano for that one)

And this concludes our musical portion of our Monday. Feel free to play alog. If you can think of a song I really, REALLY need in my library, please do tell.

* For all we know
We may never meet again
Before you go
Make this moment sweet again

We won’t say goodnight
Until the last minute
I’ll hold out my hand
And my heart will be in it

For all we know
This may only be a dream
We come and go
Like a ripple on a stream

So love me, tonight
Tomorrow was made for some
Tomorrow may never come
For all we know
Tomorrow may never come
For all we know

  1. The Rosemary Clooney song, A Mighty Wind and Crazy Heart are all available for MP3 download from Amazon.com. No DRM, although you do have to install their downloader (it’s pretty small and painless).

Anything else that’s only on iTunes, let me know and I’ll download it for you.

  2. All the mp3s I buy from Amazon contain DRM. I was just reminded of that in a very painful way…

LOVE A Mighty Wind… everything those guys do is brilliant!

  3. ??? I’ve bought a ton of stuff from Amazon, none of it has DRM.

DRM is easy to get around anyway.
