The Last Supper – Ghost Town Style
I suppose I should have waited until Holy Thursday to post these photos, but I rather felt that this was a good bridge between western and Orthodox Easter. Either way, I was fascinated by this installment at Rhyolite and the fact that I saw it so close to Easter, well, that was a blessing of a different sort.

I put a b&w of this up on flickr, but over all none of the “sculpture” thingies did much for me. Or maybe I was just too cold at that point to appreciate anything but a heavy jacket…

Interesting sapes – suggesting humanity and movement, yet static.

I loved this work of art. It was so otherworldly and yet, there it was!

Ok, that was cool and freaky at the same time. Thanks for posting it.

That’s an apt description for sure. And after getting a visit from my other “ghost”, well, there you have it

I have been to Rhyolite, believe it or not! I actually have photos of some of my family posing with them.
Thanks for commenting today on The Jason Show!

Jason, I love that you’ve been to Rhyolite and know what a special and cool place this is.
And I’m pretty jealous that you had bumper art there. We didn’t get to see that. It was long gone. We did find a few other interesting things, though. I’ll have to post those photos sometime in the near future.
