TJH: Inspire – SoCal Poolside Sunset

Don’t hate me because it’s beautiful here.

After a very hot and very busy day , I managed to crawl downstairs to stick my feet in the pool and listen to the landmate’s baby goats. While I was luxuriating in the cool water, this happened:

  2. I got lucky! I’m rarely out during sunset and even more rarely have my phone or a camera on hand. Happened to have my phone this time around and I am so glad I caught this.

    Quit saying you never get good sunset shots. You’ve posted many and they’re all spectacular!

  3. We had one recently that really knocked my socks off… orange/red with blue filled the sky, but especially in the west. Tried camera, phone… nothing. So sad.

  4. I tend to get a bit irritable when the camera/phone fails to capture the true essence of a sunrise or sunset. I keep trying, though. I keep trying. Sigh.
