TJH: Inspire – My Fair Lady

Da Goddess @ 04:33

Pretty Cow

I fell in love with this sweet caramel-colored cow. She was my first find at the Fair. Her gaze fixed upon me, full of sweetness and curiosity. I was compelled…compelled to meet her and photograph her. And pet her. Just adorable and soft and gentle. Plus she had that sweet cow smell. (Most don’t find it as appealing as I do, but really, I love the way horses and cows smell.)

I hope she was sold for a good price. I’m fairly certain (see what I did there?) whoever bought her will have the sweetest beef on their table.

  1. Love the eyelashes! Hope she didn’t get sold for eating though. She needs a nice big pasture with companions.

  2. I’m pretty sure she was meant to be eaten. :( Sad but true, that’s what happens to most fair cows.

  3. You’re not alone; I also love the smell of cows and horses.

Cows are so sweet… I used to go out into the pasture and lie with them, sort of propped up against their bellies as they chewed their cud. Very relaxing, though I’m sure some believed I’d lost my mind… :D

  4. You DO understand!

Don’t know about you, but I draw the line firmly in the sand at pigs and chickens. Too smelly for my liking.

  5. Hogs can be criminally vicious, so don’t like them. Love the eggs, but chickens are stupid and carry mites. Ugh.

    ;)
