Great: is helping to bring to light the cost many veterans pay for their service. PTSD is a serious condition that can impact not just the veteran, but the families, friends, and communities around the veteran.

Good: Chuck Norris is endorsing Last Ounce of Courage, a movie about faith, family, and freedom.
“Movies like this aren’t considered ‘fashionable,’ and people are afraid of being jumped on for taking a strong stand,” he said.
But above all, “Last Ounce of Courage” seeks to spark dialogue about America’s founding values, patriotism and individual rights.
“Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and that is what this country was designed around. Brave men and women have unfortunately lost their lives to defend our freedom,” Teague said. “You have the right to religious freedom, the freedom to speak your mind. When that is taken away, what have you got? It would be a pretty grey world. In my lifetime, I have never seen more cruelty directed toward people who speak their minds. This is not the country I was born in, this is not America. And that really bothers me.”

I guess learning to laugh as someone pokes a little fun at you isn’t a lesson taught in Pakistan. Don’t get me wrong, I think the world has had enough cultural bashing to last us a lifetime, but, c’mon! Christians and Jews and even Hindus have been the brunt of jokes — spoken, written, animated, filmed, photographed, sung, and pranced about on stage — for a very long time. We don’t resort to burning flags and shooting people. (Mostly.) So let’s all put on our big girl and big boy panties and stop being so sensitive all the time. And quit burning flags! It’s rude…and it’s bad for your health.
That last one’s almost as funny as the suicide terrorist who’s cell phone bomb blew him up prematurely because one of his colleagues texted him.

I can understand people protesting. I mean, America was founded on that principle. But taking something as a movie made by one person so seriously and rioting is a whole nuther ball of wax.
BattlingBARE is new to me, too. I’m happy to pass the info along so others become aware.
