The Gift
A child was brought into my life on this day 17 years ago. She has grown into a lovely young woman who can make my heart melt with just a smile or a silly joke or by blinking her eyes.
Without my daughter, nothing would have been possible. Nothing would have made sense. Because without her, I wouldn’t have known love.
Mojo, Happy Birthday, darling girl! May the dragons you encounter be friendly, chivalrous, and protective of you. May the fairies dance about you and bring music to you life, light to your eyes, and mayhaps a bit of mischief to your mind.
Mostly, never ever doubt how special you are to me and those around you.
I love you, honey! You are the first of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received. I’m so proud, so honored to call you my daughter.
