Still Kickin’

DaGoddess @ 23:12

Just kickin’ weakly.

Little Dude was out of school for three days last week and spent the weekend lyin’ low. He’s mostly recovered and back to being weird.

Me? Same thing. I had to send the boy off to his dad’s so I could sleep a bit, which I did…a lot.

I’m still feeling kind of off, but I’m on the upswing.

I’m off to bed. Again. Blech.

  6. Weird kids are fun kids. And I can be as weird as they come. Who else sings songs from “Little Shop of Horrors” to their baby?

Hope you get plenty of sleep and feel better.

  7. doing any better today?

  8. I think something’s in the air these last few days. I too have been better suited to lying flat than standing up….argh.
I think there has also been a major climate/season shift, too. Our tomatoes have stopped getting red. The squirrel~like, prairie dog critters that are usually out conquering the wetlands behind our building, have now gone away. I’ve seen some whales and porpoises heading south. We even have fog that started at noon today….heavy fog.

Even though there is no such thing as winter in SoCal, I think it is on it’s way. Well, in the way that SoCal winters can be. We’re freezing here tonight, but tomorrow it’s supposed to be in the 90’s where I have to drive for work….and with no air conditioning in my car….4 hour drive….oh yeah!

    Sorry….I ramble again.

Hope you are feeling stronger, and that the climate is more cooperative where you are. Take care, my dear.

  9. We’ve been doing that one day of cool, crisp air…two or three of warm…one of cool, crisp air….two or three of warm…and that’s what does me in.Once my sinuses have been irritated, i become susceptible to worse things. As does LD. I’m hoping we’ll all survive and get through ths indecisive start to autumn quickly

Stay flat if you can and feel better soon!

    Hugs.

  12. There is a non-H1N1 illness going around here that is knocking folks on their butts. It’s definitely no 24-hour bug…it takes folks DAYS to get out of bed. Sounds like it’s in your neck of the woods, too. Get better soon.

    *leaves to find hand-sanitizer*

  13. yes, I should have warned everyone to use some hand sanitizer after visiting here. Don’t want to spread any computer viruses. lololololol…llloo…okay.

    Um, yeah.

As to weird kids…and weird parents…we are gifts to the world!
