The Last Photo

This is the last photo taken with my camera. I tried everything that day to resurrect the camera. I’ve tried everything since. I guess if there was going to be a last photo, it’s fitting that it should be one of my kids.

I’m still not at the acceptance stage in the whole process. Nope, still mad about the whole thing. Getting angrier by the minute, too.

Thank goodness I got this shot before it all went to hell.

  1. Once you got your last shots off the camera, I hope you were able to get great satisfaction watching it shatter as you pitched it off a rocky cliff.

  2. No, I’m hanging on to it because maybe it CAN be repaired. I don’t have the money for the repair, but it’s worth a shot when I do get a little dough.

  3. prolly cheaper to fix than rebuy – but in today’s world, maybe not.

on a lighter note – what a loverly young lady :)

  4. Pensive mood.

And the camera just makes me want to cry, so that’s all I’m saying about that.

  5. I’m sorry for the loss of the Camera, Joanie, and what it signifies from both a personal and business perspective.

I prefer to believe that your camera saw the last photo, knew it had achieved perfection, and then became so distraught at the thought of never achieving it again, committed suicide. That’s my theory, and I’m sticking to it.

  6. Someone emailed and said I should really get back to honing my drawing skills. I should. I was pretty good with my pencils. But I’m better with the camera.

  7. My best artistic skill is crayon. I still have some problems staying inside the lines, but I’ll keep working on it.

  8. Inside the lines? No way! It’s more fun to go where the medium takes you.
