Too Soon

I don’t wanna leave! I’ll be here in Fairbanks just another 16 or 17 hours. I don’t want to go. It’s been glorious. Even with rain and (my very first) mosquito bites (finally happened today). The sun is now shining brightly and I’ve seen more beautiful scenery, met a couple whose daughter lives in San Diego (he wanted a sandwich from Akins and I can’t say as I blame him…good stuff).

Off to have dinner with friends of friends and then try to see if I can’t get a photo of Santa, peek inside his house, and then, hopefully, get a pic of this fun little trailer.

I need a few more days to really capture the essence of this place. Okay, a week. Two months tops.

  1. I’m so glad you’ve had a great time!! Maybe there will be more getaways in the future… you never know…

  7. Hope to see some pics, soon!

I also know that you have not been completely good. We have done a few road trips together.

    Hugs to you and LD.

  8. Tara, my capacity for good far outweighs my capacity for evil. And this time, I was on my best behavior. Except for the wine.

Everyone else: photos will be posted soon. My flight got in very late last night, then I spent the day down at friends’ house, followed by an evening at a play rehearsal. Of course, I got home just in time to watch After the Catch. Deadliest Catch repeats in a big and I’ll be watching that shortly. Have lots to do and only 840+ photos to upload and edit. (I was surprising prudent until I started taking photos of Erin’s daughter. Then I went crazy trying to capture every little aspect I could. She’s a cutie!)
