Blues For Baghdad

I was checking out my recent issue of BluesWax and found this wonderful little treasure:

"On April 18, 2004, seven local Blues bands and over 300 of their friends gathered at Blues On Grand in downtown Des Moines to honor and celebrate the men and women of Iowa serving our country in Operation Iraqi Freedom. This recording of that day is our way of saying thank you for your dedication and sacrifice. You may be far from home, but you are not forgotten."

Great tunes listed on the CD...and it's a labor of love. At $12, how could you possibly go wrong? (And at that low price, pick up an extra copy and send it overseas.)
