The title of this post should really read "Who's yer mommy?" but when you're showing a photo of a crawdad, it just doesn't make sense, does it?
Anyhow, I've been waiting for ages to use one of those photos and I got tired of the waiting.
Okay, here's the deal (gee, wonder where my son gets that saying!) - I was wondering if anyone would like to guest post here from Thursday until Sunday, whilst I'm out on my secret mission.
Anyone? Anyone?
Bueller?

Update: I think I have enough people to keep this interesting!
Posted by DaGoddess at October 13, 2004 12:51 AMHeck, I don't even post on MY blog anymore... Have fun on your secret mission, though! :)
Well, I suppose I could be convinced. If you don't get any other takers that is.
When is that Reno trip again?
Or is that your secret mission?

Posted by: T.J. at October 13, 2004 06:02 AMI'd be happy to help out if you need someone. Just let me know! BTW, I loves me some crawfish!! Boiled with corn & potatos and a cold beer to wash it all down!.
Posted by: yayaempress at October 13, 2004 07:35 AMYYE - I don't think you'd want to eat these. The creek where we catch them is a little suspect. We just catch and release. They're pretty cute, aren't they?
Posted by: Da Goddess at October 13, 2004 08:13 AMI'm probably not articulate enough, but it'll be interesting to see what transpires.
Incidentally, I'm glad you're doing a lot better, and whatever you are planning on doing, I hope you and Little Dude have fun!

If you really think your readers are ready for my posts, I could be convinced to tone myself down to a PG-13 level as I discuss the delusions of the liberal contingent, including a dissertation on why good people have to die for principles we hold dear.
Posted by: Thomas at October 13, 2004 12:42 PMVery cute! We used to catch and release crawfish on Sunday afternoons in the ditches in Louisiana just for the hell of it.
Posted by: yayaempress at October 13, 2004 01:19 PMUs too! We used to just drag a plastic bucket through the swamp in our Bossier City backyard and catch about a dozen. When we kept the bucket on the porch overnight, we'd end up with just one big crawdad and lotsa little pieces. Looks like you're set for guest bloggers...I learned my lesson. Don't volunteer for NOTHING!
