As if they weren't overpopulated enough, a study on "female Viagra" has Chinese women rising to the challenge of improving their sex lives.
Is this really necessary? Come on. They want to be like American women? They already are!
A survey conducted a decade ago concluded that 50 percent of Chinese women did not achieve orgasm during sex.
That sounds an awful lot like most of the women I talk to here. In an informal, non-scientific poll recently conducted by yours truly, 75% of women I spoke with claimed their husbands/partners were uninterested in orgasms other than their own. So, in a way, at 50%, China's actually doing better than we are!
Now, if Chinese women can pop out a baby every 0.0323 seconds while NOT being satisfied, what do you think's going to happen when they are? A Viagra-induced baby boom. To a lesser degree, it's happened here. Imagine what the effects will be there.
On the other hand, maybe it'll be a good thing. One can never have too many Chinese restaurants to choose from.
Chinese women line up to test "female Viagra"

BEIJING (Reuters) - In the latest sign of relaxing sexual mores in China, the prospect of orgasms and better sex has led scores of Chinese women to sign up for tests of "female Viagra" at a Beijing hospital, state media says.
"More than 200 female volunteers had registered by the end of August to act as guinea pigs for clinical testing by the Beijing. University No. 1 Hospital," Xinhua news agency said on Monday.
The agency did not say what "female Viagra" was, but in August the online edition of the Southern Daily described it as a cream but did not elaborate.
The unexpected response to the tests prompted the hospital to expand the sampling to 400 recruits, Xinhua said.
"Organisers realise that more independent and outspoken Chinese women are paying attention to the quality of their sex life, a long-time taboo in Chinese society," the agency said.
"Volunteers range from women in their early 20s to a 63-year-old housewife, but most are middle-aged career women," it added.

More recently, China's Institute of Sexology and the Chinese Medical Association launched the first nationwide survey of women's sexual experiences, Xinhua said.
Attitudes towards sex relaxed after China began Western-style market reforms in 1978, unleashing a boom in adolescent dating, adultery, prostitution and other kinds of promiscuity. The Communist Party blamed it all on liberal bourgeois morals imported from the West.
