What Do You Call A Socialist Waiting For A Bus?

Damage to Brian's Car

You can call him anything you want, but you'll have to call the jail to do it.

His anger landed him in jail after he smashed in the windshield of one of the Protest Warriors today. The photo above shows a portion of the damage from the driver's perspective.

Bryan, a Protest Warrior, is fine (except for some blood splatter and the windshield) and our friendly little Socialist was led off by the cops.

More stories and photos to follow.

Best quote (by a Protest Warrior) from the incident (when a local TV station showed up): They couldn't cover a peace rally, but man vs. vehicle and they're right on it.

Smash's take on the day can be found here.

Goddess;

At SondraK's blog, I found the following paragraph from USA Today, dated 8/29/2004;

"Along the march, angry arguments broke out between demonstrators and a group of pro-Bush supporters, called Protest Warriors, who joined the march near Madison Square Garden."

I note that USA Today is quick to announce that PW's are pro-Bush, even though they might not all be Bush supporters.

It sounds to me like the Protest Warrior idea is catching on. Any idea on how to start a South Carolina Branch?

Bill, go to ProtestWarrior.com and click on HQ at the top of the page. From there you can look at chapter information.

I don't even have to bet the socalist was Red Reilly. That boy doesn't have the guts to do anything by himself like this. Reilly's all mouth.

Just another sign that the left is losing both the election and their minds.

I was standing next to some of the PW's in Herald Square on Sunday and at one point witnessed a drugged up little punk spit at them. Created a photoblog of what I saw. Go to my site and click over if interested.

I wanna see the shot of the bloody hand!

So much for "peaceful protest". Stuff like this never makes the mainstream national media. I'm just glad that I can find it here.
Keep up the good work goddess.

Joannie - hat's off to you, Smash and the others for keeping the faith.

Went through your photoblog - didn't see any puppets. How can it be a protest if there aren't any puppets?

Posted by: lex at August 30, 2004 04:31 PM

Yeah... there were a couple of puppets. Maybe Joanie just hasn't put up those photos yet.

There were puppets, some of them were set on fire by an anarchist group called Black Bloc.
