Intellectual Enema Needed

Okay, enough is enough!

What is it about the great broad minds of the fanatical Left that makes them so certain that Communism is the right way to run a country?

Can anyone tell me what the deal is?

At the rally I attended last month a man claimed that Communism is the only sensible way to govern.

"What about Russia?" asked one of my companions.

Clueless Man replied, "Oh, they did it wrong."

"What about Cuba?" we asked.

Clueless Man said, "They didn't do it right either."

"And China?"

Clueless Man's brow furrowed and he thought really hard before stating, "China messed it up."

Listen, here's my thought...and some big rocket surgeon is welcome to jump in and point out the flaws in MY theory, okay?

If a THEORY* is implemented several times, and the results are not what has been anticipated (in fact, the results are the exact opposite of what was thought would happen), the problem isn't with the execution of the theory, but with the THEORY itself.

I have photos to edit, signs to paint, and a kid to feed.

Discuss amongst yourselves for a bit.

*Please allow one of the options to test this theory again to be that we send Michael MrKnowItAll Moore to China or Cuba for an in depth reporting. M'kay?

Gracias Diosa! It never ceases to amaze me just how ass backward those that support communism can be. Aparently, history teaches them nothing.

um... didn't anyone point out to them that communism is an economic system, not a system of government? How can you *govern* a population with an economic system?

Actually, they can't even say that communism is a theory. If you look at it from the perspective of the scientific method, there are a series of steps that must be taken in order for an idea to become a theory.
(1) Observe some aspect of the universe that you wish to explain.
(2) Create a tentative description or conclusion to explain what you have observed. This is the hypothesis.
(3) Test your hypothesis.
(4) Repeat step (3) over and over again. Each successive test must conclusively prove the hypothesis. If the test does not prove the hypothesis, you are to modify the hypothesis to fit the results of your test and then retest the new hypothesis. This starts the process all over again.
(5) If you can conclusively prove the truth of your hypothesis many times over, then you can say that your hypothesis is a scientific theory.

Only once you have been able to conclusively prove the hypothesis many times over under stringent conditions can you successfully call your hypothesis a "theory." This is where communists and their many failed attempts at implementing communism around the globe have failed. Rather than admit failure and readjust their hypothesis (that communism is the best economic way of life), they continue to try to prove something that was proven wrong IN THEIR VERY FIRST TEST.

So these people can't even say that communism is a theory. It never even got out of the category of hypothesis. And ... they were never able to admit that they had the wrong hypothesis to begin with!
