Picture Envy

What is it?
Looky here. My buddy TPB is going to start hosting a photo carnival. I think it's a great idea!

There are times when photography is infinitely more satisfying than writing for me. There are times when the words won't flow but the images do. Sometimes, it's just about getting away from the computer and doing something different. I never know what I'm going to find.

In the meantime, can anyone guess what my image is? "Something red" is not an adequate answer.

I know what it is. It is the inside of a flower I just can't put my finger on the name of the flower. It is quite unusual and has a waxy look to it like it isn't real. Am I right??????
