Keep Those Donations Coming!

Newly updated!

The Spirit of America fundraiser continues on. Over $28,000 has been raised thus far. Have you done your part yet? If not, dally no longer! If you have made a donation already, please spread the word and encourage others to join in the fun.

There are a mulitude of items being auctioned off for the cause. The Castle Argghhh's Fighting Fusileers for Freedom have placed the following items on the auction block:

Our Fearless Leader is willing to part with a piece of history if you're brave enough to enter the bidding war.

Hugh Hewitt has put up a guest spot on his show for us. Smash was the brains behind this nice prize!

Speaking of Smash, he has some items he's willing to part with but can't seem to put a price on. I can't say that I blame him because these things are extraordinary pieces of history. However, if I have to start paying just to eat dinner with him and the gorgeous Mrs. Smash, I may have to sell off their dog the next time she comes to stay the night.

Right Wingin'-it -- The Pudgy Pundit has a great deal for all us bloggers: for every TrackBack to this post, he will make a donation to the Fighting Fusileers for Freedom. How easy is that??? Link-bomb!!!!!

She Who Will Be Obeyed has a plane ticket for you - if you're the highest bidder. Maybe you could use it to pick up another one of your prizes!

Aaron, the Rantblogger, has a bundle of Patriot gear for the highest bidder. His auction closes Wednesday, April 28 at Noon, PDT.

Ghost of a Flea has Bulgari Black eau de cologne up for bid. Bidding closes at Noon, EDT, Tuesday, April 27.

Triticale has a sweetheart of a deal on some Sci-Fi stories.

Sondra K. has an official Baath Party notecard on the auction block. Bidding closes on Wednesday, April 28th, sometime that morning.

Misty has a collector's dream of a book available!

Marine Corps Mom wants to share 2 dozen USMC-approved biscotti - hazelnut brandy and
cranberry/chocolate/Grand Marnier (they took second and first place at the
Oregon State Fair a couple of years ago, so they're really excellent) with a
bag of excellent coffee and a USMC travel mug with Sgt. Hook - and YOU!

The Cool Blue Blog knows the truth is out there and is willing to help you find it with a killer DVD set of the X-Files.

E-Claire has some photos that she'll share with you when you donate! Plus, YOU can help decide which Freak-Out Fallujah taunt is best.

Yours truly is willing to part with, well, not exactly the shirt of my back, but rather the bra* appearing in the Rack photo. Bidding ends Wednesday, April 28, at 11:59pm. The winner of this item need not actually accept delivery of said item. If you so wish, this item and 30 brand new, plain white, large and extra large t-shirts can be donated to the local Goodwill. TWO great causes would benefit if you take that approach!

While we're having fun raising money for our American heroes in the military, let's not forget someone, who is near and dear to our hearts, who happens to be nearing a milestone in his life. Currently in Afghanistan, Sgt. Hook's turning 40. Have you signed his card yet?

* Bra is red, size 40DD

Speaking as someone who, shall we say, should know, let me say this -- Da Goddess is Da Best in all that she is and does. Trust me on this one.
