Ya know, right before I saw you doing this, The Grand Poobah and I were thinking we should save these for character names - whenever we're stumped for what to call a character, go to our handy-dandy spam reference list. Now everybody's doing it... I think they all stole your idea, love.

I saw a good one over at Sugarmama's: Sarbanes Oxley.
Then when I read the entry, I realized it wasn't one of those fake spam names, but the name of some corporate regulation. Sure could double for a spam name tho!

Hey. Great blog! Sorry to post this here but couldn't find contact info.

I just wanted to alert you to a freshly-minted liberal media site you might enjoy/link to called The Raw Story, http://www.rawstory.com, which culls and composes progressive news, arts and business reporting from around the world. Similar to Buzzflash, but with a much more user-friendly design and updated far more frequently. But what we say doesn?t matter -- check us out and decide for yourself.

A new hobby is definitely in order. Unluckily for you, I rarely get any new names, so I can't help with your obsession.

Maybe go and plant some Roses ;)

I haven't perused the archives to see where this started, Joanie. Forgive me for my laziness. But ignorance is bliss. Either you're making these names up, which is twisted and very cool, or you get way too much spam and need to seek help.

I've been thinking of names one should never give children in case they're alphabetized:
Paige Blanke
Chuck Wood
Dick Hugo
okay, that's enough

No, you don't need a new hobby. But, if you get bored with this one, write about the stuff the spammers put in our inbox to entice us into thier neferious web.I have to shake my head everytime I hit the DELETE button.
