It's All Glamor, Baby

It's been a little busy around here. Wish I could say I've accomplished lots, but I haven't. There've been swollen noses and swollen glands, crazy sleep patterns, restless nights, and boxes to hurdle. Oh, and let's not forget those photos that I was editing!

I finished them but now have more. Took Little Dude out to the Wild Animal Park today. The morning was wonderful and cool. We both practiced yelling out to the masses "hey, you crazy people! Don't you know this is OUR park and you need to let us get in to see it?"

Yeah, Spring Break is a freakin' joy around here.

Later in the day, Little D had butteflies walking all over him. Very cute.

We also played Animal Nurse On Safari.....where Mommy gets a starring role, talks in a golf whisper, and pesters the crap out of her favorite son.

"But Mom! I'm your only son!" he chimes in from the background.

Anyhow, back to pestering. This is fun. Lots and lots of fun. And it's legal.

You see, I continue narrating with the golf whisper, making up all sorts of scenarios about what may lie ahead or around the corner. He falls for it every time. I love making him beg me to stop with the stories. It almost makes up for the 3 straight hours of the AWFUL "Mom Wash My Underwear" song, the 5,000th uttering of "shiver me timbers!", and the almost constant "I'm hungry."

Ahhh....yes, life is good when I can pester him back.

Oh! Big news. We got to watch the cheetah being fed today. I'm working on those pics now. Little Dude also took a lot of photos with his camera. No real self-portraits from him today. I guess his mild heat stroke made him forget what he usually likes to do.

Don't I lead the most glamorous life? What? I don't? Thanks for telling me. Oy. Better go back to the drawing board then.
