Boxed In

Little Dude may be seven, but he still loves boxes. He spent much of the afternoon sitting in one when he felt well enough to do anything.

Yep. Little Dude is suffering the sinus thing now, too. I'm on infection #4 - started earlier today and has progressed rapidly over a couple of hours. I'm not worried about myself so much as I am about my son. He's been pretty quiet all day. That's so not like him.

Anyhow, I'm surrounded by boxes. Boxes to the left. Boxes to the right. Boxes in front of me. And, yes. There's even a box behind me.

I'm exhausted but I'm not done yet. Just needed a little break - I was feeling a little claustrophobic - and that's so not me! I can't wait to be done with this move.

Little dude is probably adjusting to the new environment the same way I did when we moved - my mother moved often. This on top of constant international traveling made me something of an introvert.
If the little guy is sitting in a box, he's working on abook. You'll be a proud mom soon.

This is off topic a bit but is anyone else having problems with the left column extending over the entries so that the first 3 - 4 words can't be seen on each line?

I'm using IE6 and have had that problem for the last couple of days.

I'm so sorry to hear Little Dude is not feeling well. The good thing is, once this move is over you all should be back to yourselves.

I feel your pain with the move. I had started to pack, then had the accident and have pushed my move out. Now I have 8 weeks of boxes and crap to work thru and I'm not feeling strong enough to move the darn boxes! We Will Survive! That light at the end of the tunnel is NOT a train. Promise!

Too cute!! Little Dude seems to be having a blast adapting to his new home. What little kid doesn't like to play in a box, pretending it's a car, or a train, or a building of some sort...
Hope you're both feeling better soon!!

Bogie, if it's only been the last couple of days, I'd say it's browser related..is the Favorites Bar open on the side, the window un-maximized?

Little Dude smells Frenchmen, and he is allergic. Please to rent him the original 101 Dalmatians, and My Fair Lady, so that he may purge himself of the vile humours the Euro-continentals lay on us. He's such a good lad.

Feel better soon and enjoy your new place.

The sinus crud is up here in northern California too. Along with the allergies. Been yukky all week. Hope you and Little Dude are feeling all better soon!

Greg - the widow is maximized and I don't keep the favorites bar open. It seems more to do with the spread of "this trip has been temporaraily postponed. . . . " under "Send Da Goddess Packing".

I also don't seem to get pictures anymore. I haven't changed the settings on my browser or anything. Strange.

Girl! What are you going to do about these sinus infections? Are you hoping they will go away after you're settled in the new place?
