Stuff

There were ducks in the pool yesterday morning. I didn't get any pictures of them, but my company did.

The weather was cooperative and it's been very nice since he got here. We headed out to the Wild Animal Park yesterday. It was nice to walk around and show (yet) another person how special this place really is.

While at the WAP, I got to test out the new camera. The Olympus C-740. Oh baby! Talk about a toy that makes me near-orgasmic! The 10x zoom is fabulous - the photos are great and it's easy to use. I'm still editing photos from yesterday. (Somehow I managed to take over 200.)

We're off to go do something today. I'm not sure what. I have to meet the new landlord at 4pm and then work tonight. Whatever we do will be fun, but I'm trying to figure out what we can do in that time frame.

Well, gotta run. Have to get ready for my turn in the shower - just as soon as I finish reading a few things my guest has giving me on religious freedom and Constitutional law. Who says lawyers aren't fun?

Nice camera! I hope you enjoy it. I wish I had brought my camera with me to Iraq. I'm right next to the Ziggurat of Ur and don't have a camera! /cry

mlah: If you are willing to fork out the cash for it, the Canon Optura xi is a good combination digital video/digital still camera. Last time I checked, they were going for $1200-1600, but you can score them on E-Bay for $700 from time to time.
