Traffic. It's Not Just For Humans Anymore

Busy intersection

Everyone talks about construction and the traffic it generates here in Southern California. I think this picture illustrates just how pervasive the congestion can get in the area. Even bobcats have to maneuver around certain obstacles.

What a busy and hectic place I live in.

I hear these guys sometimes have to wait hours to get from one side of their enclosure to the next. That has to be a bitch when all you want is a little cat nap.

When I worked at the San Francisco zoo, we had a bobcat in the children's zoo that loved to pee on people when they weren't looking...lovely critters...

We see bobcats around the river once in a while - they're pretty shy. Not like the coyotes -they will follow you along the river if you go for a walk at night.
