Christmas Defeats Hanukkah

Couldn't resist this one. Had me giggling...

Santa Claus is definitive winner of holiday race:

Jewish people around the world stood slackjawed while Gentiles cheered as Christmas beat out long-time rival Hanukkah in the annual Hallmark/Hasbro Happy Holidays 300 Race. Millions of onlookers onlooked as the two fictional holiday characters battled it out on the renowned Dreamland racetrack, only to have the fat, jolly cherub take first place with his trademark red suit and hearty "Ho ho ho!"

Just couldn't resist.

At least the Holiday Armadillo didn't make an appearance.

Ross (as the Armadillo): Okay, Ben, Santa has to go. Say goodbye!
Ben: No, why does he have to go?
Chander (as Santa): Um, because if Santa and the Holiday Armadillo are ever in the same room for too long, the universe will implode! Merry Christmas!

Friends, Episode 710: The One With The Holiday Armadilla

Be nice or I'll unleash the Olsen Twins Christmas Album on you.

I've not seen friends in ages, darn it. That reminds me of the Jazz & Ribs Fest we have in our town's Courthouse square every year. There's always a guy dressed in an Armadillo costume, courtesy of Texas Roadhouse restaurant.

Our friend's son, almost four, is completely smitten by the thing, and he calls it an "Unkadillo". The place everyone calls Courthouse Square is called "Unkadillo Park" by him and his family.

*L*

I saw that episode (again) not to long ago. Hilarious. My favorite part is when Monica convinces Chandler to keep the costume a little longer. =)
