When was the last time you heard applause at the end of a movie? For us, it was today.
We went to see Elf. What an endearing, heartfelt movie! The perfect antidote to stressful holiday gatherings.
Don't do your gift shopping after this movie, though. You'll be far too full of the Christmas Spirit - which is a good thing IF you're Santa and you need your sleigh to fly...but a terrible thing if you're a mere mortal with a budget.
Don't be a cotton-headed ninny muggins! Go treat yourself to a sweet movie - and let me get my shopping done in peace.
Elf - it's what all the cool kids are seeing this weekend.
Posted by DaGoddess at November 28, 2003 11:48 PMI saw this movie with a friend of mine and her teenage daughter and friends. I laughed out loud while the rest of the crowd was quiet. Too cool to laugh I suppose. Thank goodness I am a goob!
Posted by: Jenni at November 29, 2003 07:21 AMI'm off to see this one, once it opens at our local cinema. We could go to the commercial place nearby, but the local has atmosphere. Hopefully it'll be on next week!
Posted by: Rae at November 30, 2003 01:53 AMSo it's good...Not like Carey's "The Grinch", right? I'm sooo scared of most Christmas Movies after that. I want to see "The Santa Clause 2". Have you seen that one?
