Faint gurgles and whispered gulps.
That's what it sounded like.
I could just barely hear them.
Odd though. I couldn't feel them. I mean, if my stomach is going to be making those noises, shouldn't I be able to feel them?
Maybe I would have if they'd actually been coming from me.
No. Just the cat, curled up in the tiniest ball, in the corner, behind a toolbox. She's practically invisible there.
Oh well. Cat: 1. Me: 0.

Posted by: Wichi Dude at November 21, 2003 03:21 PMStill, that's so much better than the rough "hugh! hugh! hugh!" that precedes a nice hairball splatting onto the floor.
Posted by: gw at November 22, 2003 12:26 AMMy sister had a cat that snored, in the bathroom sink, louder and more raucous than any human I've ever heard, even my brother. And that says a lot. HIS snoring sucked in tent walls the last time I went camping with him and his family, his wife set up the camera! My sister's cat was worse than that. I guess it was because "Rugrat" had a cold. Rugrat's better now, not any smarter, just healthier. Hasn't snored like that since.
