I knew they meant Warren....but, in some twisted way I was hoping they meant Jimmy.
Movies, good music, cheeseburgers and boat drinks for all!
A gal can dream, can't she?
Posted by DaGoddess at August 14, 2003 01:20 AMYOU are a visionary!!!
Posted by: Moxie at August 14, 2003 01:29 AMI thought Jimmy when I read the title. Just a slip of the tongue, er mind. But I like your thinking
Posted by: bogie at August 14, 2003 03:08 AMFunny, but great minds must think alike. My Stoney thought the same thing.
Say, did you register to win the Tiki hut and Margaritaville Margarita Mix? I'm imagining myself in that Tiki hut right now! Can't you just see it here in the middle of the East TN mountain countryside!
Posted by: Medb at August 14, 2003 03:42 AMYeah Joanie, I agree a little Margaritaville ought to loosen up old Ahnold!
Posted by: Dawn at August 14, 2003 04:45 AMlol! It could be the Cheeseburger in Paradise Campaign.
Posted by: Tanya at August 17, 2003 02:05 PMlol! It could be the Cheeseburger in Paradise Campaign.
Posted by: Tanya at August 17, 2003 02:06 PMYep. Had the same reaction myself.

Posted by: donawana at August 19, 2003 08:09 AMJimmy and Warren are related, you know. They're distant cousins, I think. Jimmy does own some shares of Berkshire-Hathaway A.

Posted by: Alex at August 20, 2003 07:59 AMJimmy Buffett is indeed a distant cousin to Warren. And in truth, Jimmy is an *extremely* successful businessman. He doesn't sell as many records as someone like Springsteen or Madonna, but through his extensive touring and marketing empire he sells a TON of merchandise. I don't have any figures in front of me, but the man is definitely worth a LOT.
The "boat drinks for all" comment was pretty funny though!
