Thank you all for your wonderfully kind wishes and prayers.
The boy - hearing loss does not appear progressive in nature. All structures looked normal on the scan. The doc doesn't feel that we'll have any more problems.
W.H.E.W.
I'm back to breathing again.
THANK YOU!!!

Posted by: Ith at August 2, 2003 01:02 PMGood news for you. Well, hell, you deserve it.
Only drawback was a couple people asked what's wrong with my face...I told them I was smiling, one fainted, the others ran off, screaming.
Rant about something, please, I have an image to protect.
That's music to my ears (excuse the very bad pun!). And I bet Spenser's happy too! (Kids are, ya know. That's one of the things moms usually do well: insulate children from life's little crises and crisis-almost-but-never-did's like this one....)
Posted by: Joni at August 2, 2003 01:56 PMNow you know it is possible to hold your breath for several days! Great news for all of you especially Spencer.

Posted by: Cyberangel at August 3, 2003 09:08 PMWell that just made my whole damn weekend. As an adult (?) with a hearing deficit, I was really holding out for Spenser to check out OK.
