This Is Why I HATE MOVING!

We found the perfect condo. PERFECT. It's everything we need, and more. It's within our budget...if we didn't have to come up with the money by tomorrow afternoon.

Talk about putting a damper on one's mood.

It's a case of paying rent and bills, being able to buy food for us and gas for the car....or putting a deposit down on the new place. See, I KNOW I could get the current landlord to extend our deadline for rent here if it meant we'd found a place and would be out of here sooner. But, I just can't seem to swing the rest of this.

I'm frustrated and frazzled. I have a freakin' enormous migraine. I have a million things to do.

If we don't take this place, we'll be looking high and low for another. We risk not being able to find something adequate, within our price range. I'm not up for homelessness. I work all weekend and the beginning of next week. Then, I have three days full of fireworks. There's simply no time next week to be looking at places....besides, most people take the weekend off with the 4th of July, you know?

So.....it's weighing on my mind. Heavily.

Where the hell is Andrew Sullivan when you really need him?

Here's wishing and hoping for you and the condo. Timing is everything, isn't it? I'd love a condo--very little yardwork--hee-hee.

Thank you for what you wrote on my site. The gown was gorgeous, and I also got to wear scrub pants so no hiney was showing in back! But I had to wear one of those ugly blue paper bonnets! Bleh.

The Goddess has BAD karma? Can't be. I'll wish some positive vibes your way and hopefully the condo thing will work out.

Bummer to be going through this with a migraine though. HOPE that works out also. If all else fails, enjoy the Fourth.

I'm having a crazy day too. Just try and take it easy. Things will work out. I'm leaving on vacation in two days so early happy 4th. Hope it all gets better soon. :)

I wish I had it -- it'd be yours since I've been in that position. Got my fingers crossed. Sometimes a little honesty with a landlord will get you an extension. Sometimes not, but if they are a good landlord they will want good renters like you, Greg ansd Spence.
