Great Guesses!
I'm surprised at how well some of you know your reptiles.
It was, indeed, a Komodo Dragon.
Here's another view followed by a full image of the animal.
Does anyone know the name of this flower? (Large version linked)
Yes, I'm well aware of what it LOOKS like.
I really wanted to type in what it looks like, but since you son is watching, I won't... Suffice it to say Georgia O'Keefe probably painted it.

a post about lizards as i listen to Lemmy.
The Komodo Dragon makes my skin crawl.
The err....flower is very unusual...shall we say! :-)
