Starman

Okay. I know this is probably old news to everyone else in the world except me.

Hey! In my defense, I'm on day #3 of a 4 day run of shifts.....

Anyhow, Jeff Bridges is blogging, kinda.

Oddly enough, Greg and I were just talking about the movie Starman the other day. That movie remains one of my favorites.....the birdlike movements, the joy of discovery as seen through young eyes, and one of the best movie lines ever!

"Yellow light go very fast!"

He's also a pretty amazing photographer.

P.S. I also really liked Jeff Bridges in Tron, Rancho Deluxe, The Last Picture Show, Texasville, The Fabulous Baker Boys, and The Fisher King.

You left out "The Big Lebowski."

I liked the scene where the thugs almost drowned him in the toilet, then dragged him out and screamed, "Okay! Where's the MONEY!?"

He said, "I don't know. Why don't you stick my head back in there and let me look for it?"

It reminded me of something I would say.

Whoa... I was just quoting the yellow light line too..... eerie. that is one of the top 5 lines in ANY movie EVER.
