Back and Froth

DaGoddess @ 02:51

Yes, you read that correctly. No, I did not misspell anything.

I’ve been battling with my back and frothing at the mouth over the lack of progress in physical therapy and at home.

Needless to say, my time on the computer has been limited, again, because of the ongoing issues with my grumpy spinal column.

I apologize for not updating more frequently, but I know you understand. I promise…I’ll try harder. Just, if you would, say a little prayer that my MRI from the other day offers some clues about where we go with this.

In other news, I’m really looking forward to sharing my Oprah-like wealth with the IRS. How about you?

  1. Thankfully (??) we get refunds every year. ‘Course, that means Uncle Sam’s getting free use of our money throughout the year, but we know ourselves and we’d end up in a panic come tax time because we wouldn’t have the moolah to pay up.

Hope that MRI sheds some light on things for you! Muchos hugeros!

  2. I am glad to see you posting, and will be praying for you about your back.

As to the refund from the IRS, I am coming to the opinion that we all need a refund. If we don’t like something we buy at Wal-Mart, we can (with a receipt) take it back and get a total refund. Maybe we need to do the same thing with our government?

  3. Ugh…tax season and back pain.

I will be praying that your MRI goes well and that your pain is reduced…

After my car accident a year ago, nothing helped with the pain except for acupuncture. It is painless and it offers relief…

  5. Well, unlike you I’m more along the lines of the antithesis of Oprah.

Oprah > Harpo. Like Harpo Marx. The one who went bankrupt. No money.

Mike > No money. Oprah > Her picture is in the dictionary under “Rich Woman.”

    Like I said – antithesis

  6. They will put you through hoops until you can’t
even walk. Therapy. Tens units. Chiropractors.
It’s all bullshit. You’re going to need a disc
snipped and they will make you wait as long as
you let them. Don’t back (sic) down. If it ain’t
working demand the next step until you get the
operation. It’s an easy procedure, as I’m sure
you know. Piece of cake. The relief will be instant. You will be ALL BETTER and at work in
2 days. I know of what I speak. I went through
the same crap with the VA. Took 3 years. But
once I put my foot down … 3 months. That was
15 years ago and I have been pain free and hard
    working since. Fight for it.

  8. I pray for you without ceasing. For both the MRI and the Oprah-like wealth. I’m hoping that neither are too painful.
