A Beautiful Project

Da Goddess @ 02:22

I wish I’d done a title=”Adipositivity” target=”_blank”>project like this. It’s stunning.

  1. Mmmm… Sometimes I don’t want to look at anyone’s nekkid body, not even my own! ;)

If for a good cause, though… bring ’em on!

They call model Robin Lawley “plus size” because she wears size 12… good gracious, I’m bigger than that! We need to change perceptions.

  2. Exactly! Changing preconceived notions of beauty is a challenge we need to take on. And in doing so, I think we change our perception of ourselves. Let’s face it, we’ve been brainwashed to believe that dimpling on the legs and buttocks are terrible. That a large ass is a bad thing. Whatever happened to Rubenesque figures being things of beauty? Of larger bodies being a sign of wealth and prosperity? Since when did spending your life in a gym or on a diet become a desirable lifestyle?

Round bellies, thick legs, soft arm flesh…there is nothing wrong with any of it. Neither is there anything wrong with bodies lacking softness. As long as it’s how the body IS naturally, what’s wrong with that?
