Thinking Outside the Box

Da Goddess @ 15:54

I love the way kids look at the world.

Imagine a 14-year-old coming up with a way for the government to millions of dollars simply by changing the font they use.

That’s how it’s done, folks. Let the kids tackle some of our budget problems (and why not other problems?) and we may find a way to balance the budget.

  1. 14… or 32? Holy cow, that kid’s a genius! I like Garamond better, anyway. ;)

  2. As do I, Pam! I think it’s amazing that kids of even 14 or 15 are still just innocent enough to think abstractly (yet with some practicality) and come up with ideas we couldn’t simply because they’ve not endured decades of being told to think a certain way. And they haven’t had all the fun of dreaming kicked out of them yet.

Now, if only the government would listen to someone like Suvir instead of someone they pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to and who would require a committee of similarly highly paid sycophants who will accomplish little or nothing.
