Shake Senora!

Da Goddess @ 01:48

We just has a freaky little earthquake here. It was very wobbly and it went on a bit longer than I’d like. Currently bracing for aftershocks because earthquakes usually bring a friend.

It was less than 40 miles away. 01:35. 4.4 magnitude.

Too close for comfort

  1. I love that sequence in the movie but do not like earthquakes. They feel discombobulating.

Hope it was nothing more or less than the earth passing gas. ;)

  2. Discombobulating is right!

There was an aftershock at 09:30 or so, but I slept through it.

Now we have fires, so basically we’re in for utter shite for the next week.

  3. Almost 20 years to the day from the Northridge quake. I was watching my parents’ house and dogs in Torrance when that happened. No real damage where we were, other than an unseated toilet, but plenty of footage on TV of devastating damage in the valley. Really don’t miss that morning.

  4. I remember the Northridge quake, too. And yep, two days before the 20th anniversary.

Glad we stopped shaking. Now if only we could have some actual winter during our winter.
