Like Thunder ‘n’ Lightnin’
We’ve had some great storms rolling through town here. Late night thunder and lightning. I like! I guess I have always managed to equate storms with the comforts of home. Gimme a good storm and all I want to do is to curl up in bed or on the sofa, wrapped in a blanket, sipping tea, possibly with someone else, but not necessarily.
Of course, when a storm rolls through town I always think of the song “Knock On Wood” by Eddie Floyd and the ever-incredible Steve Cropper. Who doesn’t like this tune?
Pathetic, isn’t it? I can’t even start to tell a story about me liking storms without going into some musical interlude.
Is there a cure for the music bug? Is there? Do I want to be cured?
Oooh! Getting close. I better get off the computer now.
My God, if you can sit still through that clip you had better check your pulse and dial 911. Absolutely love it!!! :yay:

Don’t even get me started this morning, Stu. I need to wrap this up and get to bed. Been designing all night.
“Walk on let me tell you ya’ll I, I, I, I, I, I’m so tired
But I just can’t lose my stride
Come on feet don’t fail me now
I got ten more miles to go
I got nine, eight, seven, six, ehhh ehh, six
I got a five more miles to go
Now over the hill just around the bend
Huh although my feet are tired I can’t lose my stride
I got to get to my baby again”

*LOVE* Both the song and a good storm. We had a whooper last night also. It was fantastic!! And I *did* curl up on the couch with a cup of tea…..perfect.
