Public Assholery

DaGoddess @ 19:22

Dear Mr. Wheely-Poppin’ Motorcycle Guy,

You were in a 40mph zone. At rush hour. Poppin’ a wheely and racing out in front of the cars, cutting off other cars, and swerving into my lane at about 70mph is about as stupid an act as I can recall in recent memory. I thought you were going to come through the windshield. I don’t like feeling as though I’m about to be killed because someone needs to prove his “manhood” through random public assholery.

I know, you’re just trying to show everyone you have balls. They’re huge, too. Huge from being slammed repeatedly against the seat of your rice-burnin’ crotch rocket after every wheely. Better you should go home, apply some ice, and Google “motorcycle safety” than to pull a stunt like that in front of me again. For if you do so, I will not make an effort to avoid a collision.

Think about it, dude. You’re putting others at risk. And why? Because you’re a moron? I think not.

You pissed me off. I don’t like to be pissed off. Next time, I will let you smash into the car and then you can work out your issues in the hospital.

That is all.

  1. From the autopsy of an innocent loser of a motorcycle-car collision. The late Mr. P was wearing a helmet, but nothing could save him from a dangerous driver. Imagine the damage to be done some day to a biker like the one you encountered.

    Copied to the Police report:

Mr. P suffered cutaneous contusions and lacerations,
    atlento-occipital disarticulation

[from my reearch– Atlanto-occipital disarticulations occur in high-energy impacts and collisions … Current restraint systems and motorcycle helmets do not appear to prevent this generally rapidly fatal injury.”],

multiple bilateral rib fractures of the left hemothorax, a transaction of the vertebral column at T-8, multiple pelvic fractures ….

  2. atlento-occipital disarticulation — in other words, he separated the brain from the brain stem or at least the structures that connect them.

This guy I encountered didn’t give a shit about any of that. He was too busy showing off and being a dickwad, putting everyone in danger. That is something I cannot abide.

  3. atlento-occipital disarticulation

I’ve heard about a few of those in high speed collisions… ugly.

I used to ride, so when hearing about idiots on crotch rockets it makes me cringe. Motorcyclists are supposed to be more aware and practice safety at a much higher level than someone ensconced in a 3,000lb vehicle.

    Makes no frigging sense.

Glad you two didn’t get to know each other…!

  5. I hate it when motorcyclists do stupid stuff like that! We’ve got a case out here that is a hot topic…

Two off-duty cops, state highway patrolmen Highsmith and Officer Thomas from a local city police force, were racing down I-70 and clocked at 149MPH. That’s more than twice the legal speed limit of 65MPH. There was a third motorcyclist, but the patrol plane’s radar missed him and he got off.

The coverage in our local paper’s here, complete with court and patrol car video.

Highsmith walked into court expecting to just pay his fine and leave, but asked the judge what his intention was as far as penalties. When the judge said he was going to fine him and revoke his license for 6 months, the officer changed his tune and decided to change his plea to not guilty.

Oh, he’ll lose his job, has a lot going on at work…waaaah. You can bet, if this jerk thinks it’s okay to go more than twice the legal speed limit joyriding with his buddies, he’s a jerk of a cop and shouldn’t be in public service, anyway.

This case has the community incensed. I respect and appreciate law enforcement people. I also hold them to a higher standard because of what they’ve chosen to do. But these guys? Get ’em outta there.

  6. Those are two cops who should lose their jobs. Plain and simple if you ask me.

  7. I know! I think so, too. It just shows how corrupt the SHP is. That guy shouldn’t be on patrol while this is sorted out; he should be on leave or behind a desk.
