Great show, and very addicting. I also liked their Ice Road Truckers series, but from what I hear the Discovery Channel folks have fallen from favor with the trucking companies for supposedly exaggerating the dangers of the profession. They didn’t film this past Winter, which disappointed me. I’ve been less taken by the logging spin-off, “Axe Men.”
But anyway I’ll be watching tonight!

The only other “hazardous job” program of Discovery’s that could keep my interest was Ice Road Truckers. Too bad they’re not bringing it back. I wonder how they could exaggerate the dangers, to me driving an loaded semi over an iced-over lake is about as dangerous as it could get.

I liked Ice Road Truckers, too, but not nearly as much as Deadliest Catch. I liked Alex. He’s my kind of guy. lol
And Axe Men? Nah. Just doesn’t cut it for me.
Deadliest Catch is special for a million reasons that are completely unduplicatable.

Me, too.
Last night was very unsettling though. I can’t even write about it. It just disturbed me on many levels. I dunno. I must be feeling awfully vulnerable and raw right now because I had to fight the tears almost the entire episode.
