Road to Death Valley
Early Friday morning, the skies were relatively clear.
On the way to Death Valley, we stopped at Rhyolite, where I encountered my first ghost. (Image below NFS)
When we pulled into the parking area, I saw another photographer there. It wasn’t until I saw him up close that I realized he reminded me of Rob. Even eerier was this message I found on the back of a truck.
Guess everyone needs reminders of people they love. Even when they’ve been gone for a long while and you’re thousands of miles from where you’d expect to find them.
More photos coming soon.

Pat, you’re absolutely correct: it defies explanation. And I’m okay with that. One of our photography group participants looked a lot like Jan’s brother. So, perhaps we were both being tested or reminded — for a reason.
