4am Project
April 4, 2009 — 4:00 am, naturally.
The premise of the Project is to capture a photo wherever you are at 4am and share it with the rest of the world.
All you need is a camera. You don’t need anything fancy. You don’t need to go out of your way to set up an elaborate shot. You just need to grab your camera and shoot. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
Are you going to play along?
Does this involve being awake at 4 AM?

um, yes. But then you get to go back to sleep. Tell you what, get Miss L. to wake up with you and shoot together. She’ll love it! And then she can post the photos on her blog.
I’ll be in the desert, probably getting up early anyway to make the most of the sunrise, so I plan on shooting this.

I’m in. The sun will be just about rising and the Alaska Range should be lit up. If not, and with the blessings of the weather dieties, I may even be able to grab a few aurora pics.
Or not. Be careful what you ask for….It may just be a snapshot of me in my jammies…..

Yep, I follow the guys behind the project on Twitter … I think light rail cityscape is in my future there … followed closely by an attempted camera-theft mugging. Nevertheless … notice I said attempted.
