PROMPTuesday #30: Over the Hills and Far Away
I’m not much of a writer, but as our gracious hostess usually plays along with PROMPTTuesday, I figured I’d do it too. Today’s theme is the picture below. Make up a story inspired by it. Long, short, happy, sad, whatever. You can only take 10 minutes though! Put your creative efforts here in comments, or on SanDiegoMamma’s blog, or on your own blog with a link back to her post.

Mostly, have fun!
Personally, I think that this is a young Vincent van Gogh walking home from school with his dad and seeing the branches and trees come alive in his imagination.

That’s a great perspective!

Well, it is a very van Gogh-like landscape, especially the trees. The foreground tree reminds me strongly of the olive trees in a number of his paintings. The trees on the left, while much smoother and having trunks, point to the sky like his cypress trees.

Nice. I like that. I like that interpretation a lot.
